5 out of 5 stars The Publisher Misses The Point Of The Book   April 13, 2003

After studying Ed Leedskalnin for a while now, I just had to buy the book. But really for only one reason. To get the original picture of the perpectual motion holder drawing that came with the original pamplet. Instead I recieve a book with a picture of a atom with electrons on the cover. Which anyone one who has studied Leedskalin knows that Mr. Leedskalin did not believe in the existence of Electrons. This was a big disappointment. Other than that the book seems is very interesting and a must read for anyone interested in alternative physics. I do believe though that the publisher should include this picture if they are going to say they print up old and rare books in their entirety.

5 out of 5 stars To the Pretentious and Arrogant...   April 3, 2008

To those reviewers who want to attempt to insult the man and denigrate his accomplishments.Bottom line. Until you can explain how he did it, and more importantly, SHOW how he did it, you really show your own ignorance by your condescending commentary. All a degree shows is that you can regurgitate what you were told, like a parrot, and that other parrots agree you do so very well. It does not in any way denote intelligence.
You need to look at the content instead of attempting to belittle the form. In the end, you only make yourself look small. He did it. You CAN'T. NO ONE CAN. Until you can your opinions means nothing.

i cannot believe the expert idiots, critiqueing eds understanding of physics.
reminds me of the movie Idiocracy.
the stupidity and ignorance of the school-university system educated is profound, and sad.
but hey since they spent years to learn a dumbed down false physics,i guess i can understand.
that why eds knowledge is so much superior then these clowns.
god bless humble brillent ed.
what a winner!

This book is full of experiments. The only way to make this book better would be if it came will all the Magnets need and the iron filling.

5 out of 5 stars For some it is given to know the mysteries of God...   March 10, 2004

I have neither purchased nor read Ed's work (in fact today is the first time I have ever heard of him), but by reading some of the reviews I am reminded of the Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. I'm not saying that Ed was a prophet by any means but from all I've read about Ed so far is that people often discount what he says because "he only had a fourth grade education" or his grammar and spelling errors are terribly obvious. Well, I don't think geniuses are too concerned with that. From what I've heard, Ed went to the Library nearly every day. So much for a fourth grade education. How many people that hold Bachelor's degrees study and learn daily? I have a book that contains actual writings of Joseph Smith. He is probably one the smartest and greatest men to walk this continent yet you look at some of his writings and have to chuckle! Maybe that's part of the problem with the educational system today. They focus so much on getting your English perfect and brainwash you into thinking that if a person has not mastered the English language or does not have an editor that has, then he/she does not know what they are talking about... All that is important is that you hold a degree right?
