Product Description This heavily illustrated reference has been the bible of electrical transmission since the publication of its first edition in 1928. Covering both overhead and underground electrical transmission and distribution, it graphically lays out the basic principles, equipment, standards, and safety regulations, allowing electrical workers to avoid costly errors, diagnose and repair power failures, and ensure optimum safety.

| Customer Reviews: book content May 13, 2007 Albert Best (Trinidad & Tobago) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is very informative, realistic, easy to understand and very up to date. I have recommended it to others in the field. If most technical books were like that we may hardly have need for tutors.
Thank You.

Great Handbook January 14, 2009 Buck Electric Buck 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this book because is was recommended reading in preparation for the Arizona A-17 exam. The information in this book is essential to prepare for this exam. It was very informative and the illustrations were very helpful. I recommend this book for anyone needing supplemental information pertaining to utility work.
Expected alittle more March 3, 2008 Mark D. Edwards (Crestview, Fl.) I ordered this to replace my older apprentiship books and I was expecting more in-depth explanations of new equipment and procedures. While this was all the info needed for basic linework, I was disappointed with some very old information and old photos. I mean, for the money and hype I expect at least current photos and equipment.
